MBG Advisors, LLC, was founded in 1989 by Mari Beth Gavlak, CPA Inactive.

MBG Advisors helps enterprising business owners build the framework that allows their companies to thrive. We've helped dozens of companies from a variety of industries in such areas as accounting systems, business analysis, human relations, insurance, relocation, safety and risk management, computer networks, and overall operations.

 

MBG Advisors offers specific expertise in the construction industry, with the ability to understand business owners, their competitive environment and challenges for the construction company and its employees.  

Working with numerous business owners, MBG Advisors has functioned as a CFO/Controller for multiple clients, responsible for the financial activity in the company and developing standard accounting, analysis and reporting procedures. Projects also consist of the risk management of health, business and workers' compensation insurance programs, researching accounting and software systems, along with the overall operations of the business entity. Gavlak has given presentations regarding personnel policies, benefits, safety, and training and is a certified AGC (Associated General Contractors) Supervisor Training Program Instructor.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College, Gavlak completed postgraduate coursework at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of CPAs, Construction Financial Management Association, and National Association of Women in Construction.
